Wundapets is a UK-based pet store that had seen great success on eBay and Amazon. Looking to grow into a fully-fledged brand, they approached Studioworx to design and develop and website of their own.
Through a discussion of different options, we agreed that Shopify would prove to be the best option to help their online business grow at scale. This included brand discovery and design to help align the vision for their future. From there, Wundapets also took advantage of a dedicated paid and email marketing strategy to win customers and keep them coming back.

The Challenge
Some months after the successful launch of their website and new branding, Wundapets tasked Studioworx with helping them generate more sales from their store, continuing to shift away from marketplaces and cut out the middleman.
The next challenge to consider after generating these initial customers was providing sustainable, long-term value – as opposed to relying too heavily on new customer acquisition and the costs associated.
The Process
To get the name out in the most efficient way, we began running PPC campaigns, focusing primarily on Google’s Shopping and Performance Max, to generate the most lower-funnel traffic. Each month, we reviewed not only the progress of the campaigns in isolation, but also brought into context the wider picture. This included factoring in margins to work out profitability, and considering shifts in the wider market.
Following a successful growth phase with Google Ads, we then redeveloped their CRM strategy with Klaviyo. This included lead generation through web forms, customised workflows for automated winback strategies, and a weekly newsletter. This combination has allowed us look after their new customers after the initial point of sale, and subsequently increasing lifetime value, engagement, and loyalty.
Wundapets have been a prime example of a successful go-to-market strategy. They have been receptive to our consultation and, with strong foundations, have gone on strength-to-strength throughout our time working together. I look forward to seeing how they continue to grow in the future.
